We wear them to amusement parks and whenever we need water shoes since they can get wet. I spotted Keen sandals for kids for just $24.99. Those are regularly around $50 so it’s a pretty good savings. These are our favorite sandals for summer. I also can throw the in the washer when they get stinky.

It never occurred to me to ask Mom or Mom-in-law to come watch my kids. Why are we spending more on our grandchildren? Expectations of our children. In my experience, my kids expect more of me for their kids than I expected of my parents for mine. We raised our children to expect more involvement.
