What a Wonderful Christmas!

My granddaughter laughed at her brother’s antics and then tried to consume the shiny wrapping paper. After too many presents from parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins and too many opening-present cookies, we took a break for some dinner. It was very, very exciting. We had a Merry Christmas, and I hope you did too!

We had a coal stove at home, but my brother and my shared bedroom was just a few feet from the stove. Of course, later on I did get some really nice real dolls from my St Louis Aunts. In the winter, it was fricken cold in there! It stayed warm, but we still stood by the stove in the morning to warm our front and backsides up.
