That composting is a great way to recycle yard and kitchen waste, return nutrients back into your soil and that it is quite easy. I don't really time myself, but when the compost is crumbly and dark brown, I add it to the garden or flower beds. Last year, a pumpkin plant started growing out of the side of one of my bins.

Just keep in mind that some jars will be too big for most succulent plants! You can then decorate them to match your existing bathroom decor!

This is perfect if you are still looking for a spot to plant a garden in your yard. You could plant flowers but we use our raised garden bed for growing vegetables! Use six cubic feet of soil to fill this bed and plant it with herbs, vegetables, or flowers. Not up for a backyard garden?
