I also do not want her to have to take out so many loans and other things that I felt like I had to do to build my life. Luckily, my little is starting to enjoy some of these activities – like picking the peaches from our tree, grocery shopping, baking/cooking, and gardening and I love spending time with her doing these activities too!

Could I knock $20 off my grocery shopping somehow? Take the time to enjoy a good book (on loan from the library) or go for a hike or bake a meal at home from scratch. As a result, while travel is one the horizon in the next few years, building up my savings is the priority right now.
