My daughter does competitive cheerleading and that itself is $3K a year (not including travel). All I had to do was what my grandmother had taught me. I stocked up on several sizes for the next 2-3 years… for my daughter, last Sept, Crazy 8 had a coupon and a sale on summer clothes. My total bill was $27.57.

My mother grew up on a farm, and from her accounts my grandmother and grandfather (who also was a foreman at the local glass factory, along with being an independent farmer) were frugal, and sometimes times were tight. My grandpa would shoot squirrels when they needed meat, and they had a big garden and my grandmother baked her own bread.

Cable is also an expense… and you know how it is, being an adult —– at times, is not fun because of all the bills we have to pay lol. My daughter had to get a baby tooth pulled. I have other bills on top of that. I cut the cable, and the kids are not complaining. I got $333.33 back due to him not needing xrays.
