Yep, I found a $20 bill while running on the beach! I have used the extra money to pay off debt, fund family trips, or build up our Christmas savings. Finding extra money is a game for me. Over the years, I have found money through rebates, refunds, online sales, and even the ground. It wasn’t worth my time.

Miss T, in her post “ Remember, Slow and Steady Wins the Race ” states “After failing [to get out of debt] a couple times, I came to the realization that I needed a new plan, one that was attainable and manageable for the long term. Paying off debt is great but having no quality of life in the process is not the way to do it.

You can use the difference in income to pay off debt, save or invest. Shop around at garage sales, thrift stores and online classifieds for furniture and other household items. And if you’re not paying your bill in full every month, you’re paying a lot of extra money in interest.
