Groceries are the one area in our household budget that I feel like I have the most control over. The weeks that I take the time to plan the menu are the weeks that I have control over our spending. I started using a menu/grocery list clip board and it works really well for me. Menu planning saves me time.

To achieve those goals I need to review our spending to see where I can make some cuts. If there is one budget category that can quickly get out of control for me, it is GROCERIES. If I don’t plan our meals and my shopping list, I spend too much money and make too many extra stops to the grocery store during the week.
