I remember when I moved in with my boyfriend out of my parent’s house, I was blissfully ignorant of all of the things I needed to buy. There were so many little things that we didn’t consider and we found ourselves scrambling to buy after we moved. Cleaning Supplies. Rubber gloves, toilet scrubbers, plunger. Storage bins.

Your needs are crucial, and include things like food, water, clothes, transportation, etc. Your wants are things you can do without, especially if you do not have the money to buy them. But wait a minute, you might be thinking “Jeans are clothing.” Separate Your Wants From Your Needs. It’s not a necessity.

Shopping for clothes was also a chore because I would see cute things, but then I would be discouraged at the size I would need to buy to fit my body. I also went from being a couch potato to taking 5 mile hikes, biking for 60 minutes a day, and ultimately looking forward to the next active challenge!
