All I had to do was what my grandmother had taught me. For the clothes and shoes for my kids, I look for sales. I buy them on sale, with the exception the kids feet grow when there is no sale (for gym shoes). And when I buy them on sale, I usually buy for the next size up. Then I have no choice.
