Learn how to remove spots and do it as soon as the clothing gets dirty. Avoid buying cheap clothing new. Make old t-shirts and dish cloths into rags to use when dusting or washing the car and etc. Add one or two small new-to-you items to make things seem different. Buy good clothing, used.

The garage is detached but also bermed along that same back wall. There is a breezeway/porch between the house and the garage. Good thing we have that emergency fund because this won’t be cheap to fix. We have an earth berm home, the back wall is built into the hill with the other three sides of the one story ranch open.

I found you through your post, “Soap Is Cheap, in Sept 2021. He got his roofing urges out when he build our garage last year though!) In my area, housing is cheap. We have a big family, but we live in a small house – we use bunk beds and make do. A cake with a perfect swirl! That is priceless.
