I’ve since spent much time going through the archives. I got into minimalist content in high school, and somehow found Dave Ramey through there just before I went to college. He wants to retire early so he can do more woodworking, electronic fixing, and maybe work at a winery or brewery part-time. But also, yoga.

Many reasons are given for this fact, including things like taking time off for children; picking low paying jobs; only working part time and yes, discrimination. Did you know that unless you get a masters degree you are likely to earn less than $65K a year for full time RN work? Pick the right field of study.

In retrospect I felt that I had lost an important time of my life – the college years. The time when you learn to drink beer and coffee, pull all-nighters, meet lots of new and different people, some who may become your friends for life. Going to a women’s college gave me those opportunities and more.

Drew works full time for Department of Defense. Farrah works part time for Department of Defense. We obviously love Dave Ramsey and financial teachings so we help to teach those classes at our church one night a week. Then we re-took the class and never looked back. Increase college funds for babies.

She (we will call her Susan, although that is not her name) started life as a member of an industrious lower middle class family – one sibling, two parents married to each other.
