For many, the end of the year holiday shopping frenzy can override our saner, more thrifty selves. Winter clothes. These get donated to thrift stores or placed in consignment shops so you might keep checking your local stores for these. Look on Craigs list and in local consignment shops for nearly new exercise equipment.

Did you know that Americans dispose more than 700 billion pounds of paper, plastic, glass, wood, food, metal, clothing, electronics, etc. When you have mess to clean up, use cloth napkins, sponges, or dishclothes that can be washed instead of reaching for paper towels. Go thrifty. 7000 billion pounds!!! Reuse what you can.
