If you have an uneasiness when it comes to “used” clothing, know that there are many different tiers of second hand stores. If the stigma of thrifting gets to you, remember, it’s not “used”, it’s “vintage”. Children’s clothing is generally much cheaper than the adult equivalent. Check out Sample Sales. Choose Wisely.

Much of the time, baby clothes aren’t used harshly — especially newborn and early infant clothing. They can be found in a number of places, from online book swaps to eBay to Amazon. Baby Items. We bought a lot of our son’s onesies and other items (including a crib) at a consignment shop. Entertainment.

One way to save money on this is to simply make a list of all the single-use products you have at home and see if you can’t swap them for a longer-lasting option. Organize “Swap Days” In the time of our great-grandmas, there was something known as the barter trade. We still have versions of this today.
