Grandparenthood Can Be Expensive!

We spoiled our children and we apparently are even more intent on doing so with our grandchildren! My parents were somewhat more interactive with their grandchildren (my kids). They also took the kids (one at a time) each year and entertained them by going to tourist attractions in their area. Why are we boomers more involved?

But I look at it as entertainment, like going to the movies. I will make sure that my grandchildren have a college fund that is untouchable until then or until 30 if they don’t go to college (that’s right - 30 ). I get my $20 in quarters and play the slots until the quarters are gone and then I stop.
