Compost kitchen waste to feed your garden. Before you get rid of items that are still in usable condition, consider trying to sell them, or give them to a thrift store. You can do the same. Look for ways to re-use what you already have. There are numerous items that can be used in a container garden.

We do put up decorations (ones I buy at garage sales or thrift stores and reuse each year). Tip # 2 Recycle/reuse costumes. Compost it by cutting it up and putting it on the pile. What do you do to recycle/reuse on Halloween? No kids = no money on candy = no candy wrappers in the landfill.
