This past summer I decided to start composting. Benefits of Composting. Before digging into how I convinced them to start composting, I want to give a quick blurb on why composting is important. By composting, I was finally doing something and working toward something to keep creation healthier.

Chances are that at least some of the time you bring your own bagged lunch to work or to school. Sure, there are days when you go out for a nice meal with co-workers or pay for the school lunch on pizza day, but when I think back to my school days I fondly remember those brown paper bags. I didn't compost the salad, because it had feta cheese mixed in) We certainly eat leftovers, but by the end of last week, we were (1) lazy and (2) lazy. Brown Bag lunch. Take the leftovers to work and avoid eating out on your lunch break. Set the leftovers up buffet style. How much food do you think you waste annually?

NestFresh Eggs come from small family farms across the country and are packed into recycled, recyclable, and compostable cartons. We eat eggs for breakfast, lunch and dinner (not all in one day, though!), Nicole’s take: My girls are big egg eaters. Like we go through at least 2 dozen a week. I feel great giving them to my babies!

A simple picnic lunch in the park works fine, too. She’s an earth mother fond of baking kale chips and reminding you to save energy, recycle and compost the banana peels. If you think you can handle a 3-course French dinner, by all means put on an apron and aim for a meal deserving of a Michelin Star. For the Green Goddess.
