While I love thrift stores, I can be easily swayed to run into Target or Kohl’s when I’m in that part of town.

Our Big Financial Goal for 2016

We have more important things to do with our money besides sending a large portion of it to the creditors every month. We have a retirement to plan , our daughters’ college to save for, and many places to visit. And if forgetting about it isn’t an option, only then will I step foot into a store to purchase it.

That book has changed my outlook on reusing, recycling, making do, and rethinking one use products. 2 – Read, research, ask questions, and understand how we will pay for our daughters’ college.

Our 2018 Financial Goals

We hit our Annual Household Portion (kind of like a deductible) of $10,000 with Medi-Share in 2017 when our daughter had an unexpected medical condition arise that required multiple tests, 3 surgeries, and medication. We do budget for dining out and this year, we will need to be more diligent about staying within that budget.
