Recently we traveled with our daughters’ Girl Scout troop to the Corning Museum of Glass located in the heart of the Finger Lakes region in New York. ” That was my first thought about taking my daughters, ages 9 & 7, to a glass museum. We highly recommend a visit to the Corning Museum of Glass.

Visit a local museum. Check to see if your local museums offer summer programs or coupons for cheaper admission.

We headed north this past summer to New York with my daughter’s Girl Scout troop. Our first stop was Corning, NY, where we visited the Corning Museum of Glass. We had a fantastic time at the museum and I highly recommend it.
