You can defray some of your clothing costs by shopping for deals at used clothing stores or thrift stores. Even if you do not have any growing children, buying clothing at thrift stores is a great way to cut costs. Even small thrift stores can be overwhelming, and it is best to have a plan before you go.

While I like to shop at thrift stores, I have a hard time finding TALL length jeans for my 5’10 frame and I was in need of new jeans. At first, I thought my eyes were deceiving me, so I marched right into the DSW to see what shoes I could find around $49. I found a really cute pair of TOMS shoes marked down to $49.99.

Shopping the sale racks at your favorite store is always an option, but there are two ways to find even better deals on clothing. Thrift : I regularly stop by my favorite local thrift store and find crazy bargains. I only shop on Wednesdays, when the store has a 50% off everything sale. Keep it Simple.

Take your smartphone with you on your next shopping venture so you can google discounts and search price comparisons in the store. Just make sure you’re dealing with reputable sellers before you place a bid.

We found the best price for the Gentle Leader Headcollar at Amazon (that is my affiliate link) at around $8 less than the big box pet store. The girls and I hit my favorite thrift store this week. As usual, I found some great deals. If used shoes creep you out, never fear, just wash them. The sneakers cost me $2.50

If anyone has any suggestions on how to deal with that, I’d love to hear them! Another less than 5 dollar vintage piece… And now for the shoes. It was mostly about the shoes. And I need new jeans (I promise, I am going to get to the shoes!). Because shoes pretty much always fit. That’s a long time. Unnecessary.
