While I like to shop at thrift stores, I have a hard time finding TALL length jeans for my 5’10 frame and I was in need of new jeans. At first, I thought my eyes were deceiving me, so I marched right into the DSW to see what shoes I could find around $49. I found a really cute pair of TOMS shoes marked down to $49.99.

End of season sales are the best times to score a deal, meaning winter jackets in the spring and bikinis in the fall. If you can’t find the deal you want, snap a picture of the tag and the item so you can find it later on at the right price point. If the stigma of thrifting gets to you, remember, it’s not “used”, it’s “vintage”.

If anyone has any suggestions on how to deal with that, I’d love to hear them! Another less than 5 dollar vintage piece… And now for the shoes. It was mostly about the shoes. And I need new jeans (I promise, I am going to get to the shoes!). Because shoes pretty much always fit. That’s a long time. Unnecessary.
