As I was clipping the grass around the trees with hand clippers just now, it occurred to me that this was a task I used to have as a child. They didn’t use credit (I’m not even sure they ever had a mortgage!) I do the same (although I did used to have a mortgage). They had low paying jobs and huge debt loads.
