My husband and I have four kids ranging from age 3-8, and I am a stay-at-home mom. How did you get interested in saving money? As a teenager, I saved quite a bit of the money I earned babysitting and working in a dining hall. Within reason, we like to give our kids a nice Christmas with presents they enjoy.

My niece goes to Goodwill and buys what I can only describe as bags of junk, and she makes a full-time income selling it on eBay. Have you got kids? If I wanted to save money quickly, I could probably get that down to about $300 by focusing on cheap meals. Remember that money saved is money earned!
