Donate Plasma. In early 2021, a friend posted on Facebook about how she was making extra money by donating plasma. I started donating plasma in January of 2021 and earned over $1000 in the first 3 months of the year. You earn money after each donation. Since there were four chairs and only three fit at the island, we repurposed the fourth chair by painting it and using it as a decoration in our spare bedroom. Just because your old furniture doesn’t necessarily fit in with your new house through it’s previous purpose doesn’t mean you can’t repurpose the item!

If you have an uneasiness when it comes to “used” clothing, know that there are many different tiers of second hand stores. If the stigma of thrifting gets to you, remember, it’s not “used”, it’s “vintage”. Whatever is left unclaimed at the end of the evening gets donated. Spend the evening trying on eachothers’ discards.

There will be those that are good to keep, because you will wear them; there’ll be some that you will never wear because they don’t fit, are past their best or simply don’t suit you anymore; there may be some that you simply can’t part with regardless whether you will wear them again or not.

I shop at thrift stores frequently and I am always amazed at how much I see with store tags still on the product. If you have something that didn’t fit or you didn’t end up liking, RETURN it. Many stores will at least give you a store credit if you don’t have your receipt.

I tend to focus on certain brands that I really like and that fit me well. While I like to shop at thrift stores, I have a hard time finding TALL length jeans for my 5’10 frame and I was in need of new jeans. I earned a free turkey from my regular grocery store, GIANT of PA.
