Most of the money these organizations receive is, in-fact, from regular people like you and I who feel we are doing the right thing by donating a few of our hard-earned bucks to a cause we care about. No one would begrudge GMO king Monsanto from attempting to donate millions to environmental groups; that’s just smart business.

Our diet is made up of large quantities of meat which is produced by commercial farms, the largest greenhouse gas producer. If there are organizations near you that are fundraising for a greener cause, participate in it. Donate $1 or $2 towards the cause. Support your local organic farmers. Every little bit adds up.

I remember thinking about how wonderful it would be to not have to worry about whether we had enough to pay for the propane gas to heat our home.
