Tina and I are thinking of setting up a Dallas clothing, accessories and shoe swap for the ladies. We are aiming for FREE because we think charging goes against the principal of a swap. Tags: Swap Dallas. You bring gently used items and you trade with other girls.

Tina and I are meeting again tonight to discuss setting up a DFW swap. It's not set in stone yet, but we would probably use a "ticket and take turns" system for the first few rounds (You get a ticket for each item you donate to the swap, we take turns selecting items). Tags: Swap.

Clothing swaps are a great way to spend a frugal evening with friends while clearing out your closet and scoring some new finds. To set up a swap, gather a group of friends and have them bring anything they want out of their closet-dresses, t-shirts, shoes, accessories, whatever. Spend the evening trying on eachothers’ discards.

So how about we just talk about the Swap instead? We ended up with a pretty sizable donation for charity, …and everyone seemed to find lots of great stuff to take home. Anything you now longer want that is still wearable and in reasonable condition can be donated to thrift stores. Garments that are in good condition, especially well-known or high-end labels, could be donated or sold to secondhand clothing stores or through eBay or other online sites.
