Because I menu plan, I pull frozen meat from the freezer the night before my planned meal. I plan my menu on Sunday afternoons when I have the new week’s grocery flyer in front of me. I try to keep my large weekly grocery shopping to one store unless there are some loss-leaders elsewhere. Menu planning saves me money.
