Fed’s Preferred Inflation Measure Slows in November

The core price index which excludes food and energy prices grew only 0.1%, the same as the month prior. The Fed also monitors the Consumer Price Index (CPI) , which showed a 3.1% economist at Oxford Economics wrote. The index was up 2.6% from the same time last year but is nearer to the Fed’s 2% goal and down from 2.9%
