The heat found in the earth beneath your home is completely free, completely reliable, it will never run out and it takes no harmful natural gas or oil to extract it. Fact: There are a few rare expections where geothermal isn’t economically or physically feasible. The heat is there, you just need a system to pump it out.

For 20 or so years I’ve been homeschooling my kids, and am now down to about 1 1/2 (one full-time homeschooler, and one doing College Credit Plus with some support). When we do stop, my pro tip: Don’t use gas station bathrooms (unless you’re at a really nice toll road stop, and then they’re okay!)

Outside of my blogging life, I work full time as a magazine editor/designer for a large national company and I also teach part-time at a local University. And for fun, I study new ways to save money in my life (yeah, seriously, I find that fun… ), garden, and spend time with my wonderful pets. Going out is expensive.
