Wishing you had bought a new Prius or even an EV about a year ago so you could be saving a ton of money on those twice weekly fill ups? However, buying a new car isn’t in the cards for me right now, so I have to make due with the one I have. Do you have any suggestions for making your current car a little more green?

The average driver completing 12,000 miles per year would therefore save about £200 ($322) per year on fuel costs alone by opting for the diesel version of the model. This is on top of the road tax saving of £130 ($209) each year which is available on account of the diesel model producing less C02 than the petrol version.
