He worked long hours at a high pressure job he really didn’t believe in and it took a toll. The work just kept coming at him and although he did work lots of paid overtime, he could never get ahead of it. The pressure from management to keep the ‘queue’ of work down was relentless. What are the symptoms?

Last year was definitely trying for our family with the passing of my husband’s father, then followed by mine. It was very hard to keep up with work while I was with my dad, and subsequently I lost thousands of followers. That time with him was precious and I thank God every day that I had it.

I currently work part-time from home, mostly behind a computer. I had to reduce, and for long stretches, stop work altogether so I could help her and be available to take her to appointments or pick her up from school when she was ill. She started working with our local volunteer rescue squad when she was 16, which she loves.

My degree is in mechanical engineering, but I’m just starting a transition to nursing – before I got pregnant with my son, I was working as a nursing assistant while my husband finished grad school, and planning to go on to nursing school. C with Finn, my parents’ dog Our daughter is 12, and very into the arts and science.

I’m fifty years old, married almost 25 years, with four sons of various ages ranging from all grown up to still-working-on-it. ? For 20 or so years I’ve been homeschooling my kids, and am now down to about 1 1/2 (one full-time homeschooler, and one doing College Credit Plus with some support). Biggest mistake ever.
