My mom expected both my brother and I to find employment when we reached the legal age of 15, and enforced it by having us pay for half of our school clothes (well, the ones we wanted. Time is a factor in high school, because teenagers will be in school all day. It’s like having a full-time job.

Reading too many newsletters takes a lot of time, and taking too many market opinions into account can clog up your thinking. jobs report, unemployment index, this index, that index). Waiting (and getting excited) over upcoming financial data only wastes time. Reading takes time, and information overload is not a good thing.
