My niece goes to Goodwill and buys what I can only describe as bags of junk, and she makes a full-time income selling it on eBay. Dining out, fast food drive-throughs, and Starbucks all have to stop. Pack your lunch, and focus on inexpensive meals like sandwiches and leftovers. Don’t spend it!! Make it yourself.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Hopefully extended family is with us or we are with them and for a while we all stop driving each other crazy to enjoy good food and wine and conversation. My nieces, my daughter and I sing all the songs, loudly , to the annoyance of my brother and son-in-law. Sometimes there is snoring. It is always a day I am thankful for.

I also splurge on our cat’s special allergen-reducing food, which makes it possible for Ms. Easiest part of being frugal: Not buying things like junk food at the grocery store.
