I spent: $147 at Sam’s Club $15 at Safeway $31 on a Hungry Harvest box Sooo, $193 for me this week. What We Ate Saturday I ate dinner with a friend, and Zoe had leftover pizza when she got back from work. Monday I picked up a rotisserie chicken from Safeway. Next week’s groceries will be cheaper.

WIS, WWA | I had no plan

The Frugal Girl

at Safeway Sooo, $110.50 Monday I found a package of chicken tenderloins in the freezer, so I thawed them and then seasoned and sauteed half of them. I saw some leftover angel hair pasta in the fridge, so I took that out, added some half and half and some red pesto, plus some asparagus. Chiquita looks a little mad here!

WIS, WWA | Last one before school

The Frugal Girl

I spent: $32 at Aldi $8 at Safeway $17.50 Then I stirred in the cooked couscous along with some red pesto from Aldi, and topped it with the last of a bag of mozzarella from the freezer. Tuesday I sauteed some ham from the freezer, then sauteed some chopped kale, then added in leftover mac and cheese plus some milk and cream.

What I Spent I spent: $30 on a Hungry Harvest box $34 at Safeway $15 on fried chicken So, $79 for me. Monday I had a free frozen pizza from Safeway sitting in my chest freezer, so that’s what we ate! Friday We’ve got leftovers, so that’s probably what we will eat tonight. Rolls > turkey.

WIS, WWA | a week of chicken thighs

I spent: $7 at Safeway $11 at Chick-Fil-A $31 on a Hungry Harvest box $99 at Aldi So, $148 for me this week; a little on the high side compared to the usual. What We Ate Saturday I had three chicken thighs in the freezer, so I thawed them and made bourbon chicken and broccoli over rice. Fruit salad and chips on the side.

I spent: $50 at Safeway And that’s it! What We Ate Saturday I made French toast with berries and whipped cream… and I was lucky enough to snag the last container of whipped cream at Safeway. Sunday I made chicken fingers to use up some random pieces of chicken in my freezer, and we had fruit on the side.

This week, I spent: $35 at Lidl $14 at Safeway $11 at Chick Fil A (for a sad reason. <3 Sunday Pulled pork from the freezer, on buns, with fruit on the side. Tuesday I used leftover chicken to make half of this chicken and biscuits recipe. So, just $60 this week for Miss Zoe and me. I made a green salad on the side.
