I took Friday off and we finally had some time to do a little thrifting. We also hit a few thrift stores, and again, I did not really find what I needed, but I got a couple things anyway. I don’t know what it is, but thrift shopping is so draining. It was hot. So hot I wore shorts. I’m so tiny.)

Last week we had a big week at the store. NARTS had a conference in town, and our store was one of their stops in Dallas. We had hundreds of resale, consignment and thrift store owners come and see us on Friday. In order to make sure we had coverage I picked up a shift on my day off. And I am so glad I did!

(I know I skipped “Struggle to Fit Into Your Skinny Pants” last Friday. I did so for a multitude of personal and messy reasons that I won’t go into here, but I apologize, and I’ll be back to that this Friday) I am in kind of a “situation” with the bottom half of my wardrobe. I have one plain black skirt.
