I wonder if I’m really being frugal or if I am just being cheap. To me, frugal implies using resources in the wisest fashion and cheap implies a specific focus on getting the lowest price. Although Mom didn’t sew much (she did mend), she made sure I took Home Ec in high school. The Frugal Girl blog does a great job of discussing this point! Learning how to do alterations could land you a job in a bridal salon or formal wear store. Sewing today has dropped out of main stream life. Sewing is an art.
