What’s your best frugal win? ?? Being between houses and living in hotels mostly, it’s hard to cook. I save money where I can to keep it frugal, like by using apps, coupons, value menus, etc. What is the easiest/hardest thing about being frugal? I want to be frugal with a plan. Clipping coupons.

How long have you been reading The Frugal Girl? I started reading The Frugal Girl about two years before I escaped from the workforce, which was almost eight years ago. Although my parents never specifically taught me about finances, they lived a frugal life by necessity. I enjoy playing the game and I like to win.

How long have you been reading The Frugal Girl? I know I found The Frugal Girl through the Non-Consumer Advocate, and I’ve read nearly all the archives. I was not raised by frugal people, but my fiance (now husband) was very frugal, and I wanted to learn how to adopt some of the same mindset so we could be on the same page.

How long have you been reading The Frugal Girl? I found the blog looking for frugal recipes. Somehow, I was watching a video of Korean YouTuber Maangchi making something she called a frugal Korean dish, which made me think that I probably should look for more frugal recipes to save money on expensive ingredients.
