WIS, WWA | all Safeway

The Frugal Girl

What I Spent So I went to pull together my grocery spending for the week and I realized that it’s all quick trips to Safeway. This is better than endless nights of eating out, but definitely not as frugal as an organized trip to Aldi. I spent $63 at Safeway, spread out between an embarrassing number of trips.

Five Frugal Things | white tees aplenty

The Frugal Girl

Before I went into Safeway, I opened my app to do a quick scan of the deals and I found a $5/$5 purchase coupon in my account. We ate it for dinner last night with sweet potato fries, and tonight I will make a small batch of chicken and biscuits with the leftover meat. What frugal things have you been up to lately?

I got some free ice cream + discounted dented cereal I stopped in at Safeway to buy some berries, and as usual, I opened the app to see if any deals stood out. Surprisingly, I had an offer for a free full-size container of the Safeway brand of ice cream. What frugal things have you been up to lately? Excellent.
