What I Spent So I went to pull together my grocery spending for the week and I realized that it’s all quick trips to Safeway. This is better than endless nights of eating out, but definitely not as frugal as an organized trip to Aldi. I spent $63 at Safeway, spread out between an embarrassing number of trips.

But here in Frugal Girl world, it’s business as usual. What I Spent I spent: $30 on a Hungry Harvest box $34 at Safeway $15 on fried chicken So, $79 for me. Monday I had a free frozen pizza from Safeway sitting in my chest freezer, so that’s what we ate! If you are braving the retail crowds, godspeed to you. ?

I spent: $15 at Target (for two bags of Starbucks coffee) $30 on a Hungry Harvest box $51 at Sam’s Club $17 at Safeway So, $113. I felt a little stumped about what to make for dinner, and I stopped at Safeway rather aimlessly, hoping for inspiration to strike. We’re 25% of the way through this 16-week semester already!

I spent: $22 at Panera $27 at Safeway What We Ate Saturday I had all-day clinicals and a friend popped by with enchiladas, rice, and beans for Zoe and me. It’s gotten to be a bit of a disaster because of the last few crazy weeks, so once I take inventory, I will decide on a dinner plan that uses up some of my fridge contents. ?
