For 20 or so years I’ve been homeschooling my kids, and am now down to about 1 1/2 (one full-time homeschooler, and one doing College Credit Plus with some support). He pointed out that I had studied sculpture and this was sort of similar, so I used a pair of office scissors and cut his hair a week before our wedding.

When they got married, they bought a duplex so that the rent money from the tenant in the upstairs apartment would pay the mortgage. I learned from the best, but I believe that a personal finance course should be a requirement for both high school and college graduation. My mom cut coupons and sewed her own clothes and mine, as well.

They had me, and then my mom decided to go back to school full-time and get a PhD. Three years later, she graduated, and my dad decided to do the same.
