I used an old seat cushion I had and wrapped it with brand new material from another garage sale to pretty it up and make it softer, then stacked new throw pillows I found at yet another sale for $.50 This one is heavy duty metal and oak with brass hardware. Sales are a great place to find your Christmas décor.

Garage sale and thrift store furniture bargains abound. I used a standard hardware store staple gun that shot thick 3/8″ staples and was very hard to use. The toy ice cream table and chairs from my Mom’s childhood have an iron frame, which I stripped and spray painted. Ways to save on furniture.
