We have accumulated a lot of stuff – lose screws, highly prized collectibles, everyday essentials, clothes that ‘might fit again someday’, tools, children’s artwork, food stuffs and more. So, store your paint together with your paint brushes, paint thinner, paint stir stickes, rollers and etc to find them easier later.

I love going to garage sales. This past weekend, I went out garage sailing just for fun. I took it apart (which took about an hour) and am stripping the paint off the iron (think at least one can of paint stripper) and then will spray with Rust-oleum – and I just found out that the cans I thought I had had been used on lamps!

Dad required me to learn to use tools and perform tasks which, at the time, were considered for boys only. I learned to change the oil, rotate the tires, use power tools, cut the grass, paint the house, work with concrete and much more. He took an art class by mail and painted landscapes in oil. Try new things.
