I now have the Amtrak Guest Rewards MasterCard Card from Chase, which gives me 2 points (track miles) for each $1 I spend on Amtrak travel and 1 point for every dollar I spend elsewhere. If you are a new cardholder you usually get some bonus points upon signing up, and the Amtrak card gives you 12,000 points to start with.

She envisioned me running out of gasoline and not being able to get home. Granted that didn’t act in our favor because we ended up paying, but my point is that we were able to get what was needed so we didn’t go hungry. I hate paying for things like dinners out or gasoline weeks after I have eaten or used up the gas.

Store gas points: Stores like Kroger and others have points that you get whenever you shop. This means that the car is not efficiently using the gasoline and pulling more than is needed to operate the car. So, that middle of the week idea is SOMETIMES correct. Best to shop around. I have gotten $0.10 off my gas or $0.03.

You don’t need extra equipment or “stuff” in your car that just weighs it down, and ultimately burns more gasoline. In Arizona, shop at Fry’s or Safeway, and you can earn points to save up to $1 per gallon of fuel when you fill up. Not only that, but they burn more gasoline (and ultimately your cash!). Skip premium gasoline.

Explain how the checkout process works, point out the employees in the store and talk about what they do. Point out all of the various people working there and help them figure out what they are doing. Buying gasoline. Talk about where the gasoline comes from and the various jobs related to producing it.

At some point in your life, you will probably ask yourself that question. Are you up to getting all new service providers, banks, favorite gasoline stations, finding local entertainment venues and etc. At some point, we will just need to go or stay and deal with the consequences! Will the taxes be higher?
