Our long-term goal is to retire in our 40s, and the first step is to pay off this mortgage (in addition to recommended retirement investing). It’s not hard for me (anymore) to avoid expensive stores or fast fashion sites such as Shein and Temu, and instead shop at thrift stores or use my local BuyNothing group.
