My grown kids are also savers and I have high hopes that the grandchildren will follow their example. Helping the parents teach my grandchildren to save is an ongoing project of mine. But, I wonder, will that work in today’s interest rate environment? We could take on debt to grow using other people’s money.

Tickets for $30 each, but valid only for use on Thursdays. When I took my grandchildren to the local carnival in my own city on the 4 th of July, each ride was at least $3 per child – so $9 a pop if I rode with them. Bring snacks and a drinking cup to use in the park. Find or buy re-fillable soda cups for the park.

After 10 years raising kids, I decided to re-enter the workforce. I didn’t even realize that most jobs required a doctorate in Psychology to really use the knowledge in a career. I didn’t explore jobs that I might eventually be able to work into or even ones that I might enter immediately. It didn’t.

I know that you have written on several occasions about what cell phone service you use but I have searched and searched and cannot find any of your posts about it. Could you please tell me again what company you use. We use Mint Mobile ; I pay $15/month for talk, text, and data.

Since I already had some sandrete (a kind of cement I use to fill the lines in my brick sidewalk), I decided to wait on getting a kit and do a bit more research. Something to use to write messages on the wet cement. I used the sandrete I already had. Pretty things to embed in the wet cement.

Merrill Lynch Financial Advisers recommended I re-allocate to a ‘more appropriate’ conservative position. They couldn’t afford to take any risks at all and consequently used a very conservative model, holding all money in treasuries of various sorts or in the bank. Our model works for us.
