What I Spent So I went to pull together my grocery spending for the week and I realized that it’s all quick trips to Safeway. I spent $63 at Safeway, spread out between an embarrassing number of trips. Sunday Leftover sandwiches; they’re great reheated in the toaster oven on the air-fryer setting.

I spent: $147 at Sam’s Club $15 at Safeway $31 on a Hungry Harvest box Sooo, $193 for me this week. Next week’s groceries will be cheaper. What We Ate Saturday I ate dinner with a friend, and Zoe had leftover pizza when she got back from work. Monday I picked up a rotisserie chicken from Safeway.

So typically, the only brick-and-mortar store I go to the day after Thanksgiving is a grocery store. Grocery stores are wonderfully empty right after Thanksgiving! This week, I spent: $25 at Safeway $45 on a Dinnerly box So, $70. Tuesday Halloween night: Zoe was out with friends (I think they ate pizza?) Friday I have an evening lab, but there are leftovers here so that’s probably what Zoe will eat after work. I’m just happy! Toasted croissants on the side.

I spent: $7 at Safeway $11 at Chick-Fil-A $31 on a Hungry Harvest box $99 at Aldi So, $148 for me this week; a little on the high side compared to the usual. Monday A longggg lecture day for me, and I had leftover chicken. Tuesday I pulled out a frozen pizza and that was our dinner. Fruit salad and chips on the side.

This week, I spent: $35 at Lidl $14 at Safeway $11 at Chick Fil A (for a sad reason. Tuesday I used leftover chicken to make half of this chicken and biscuits recipe. Thursday On Wednesday, I made this thin crust pizza dough and put it in the fridge. So, just $60 this week for Miss Zoe and me. I made a green salad on the side.
