What I Spent So I went to pull together my grocery spending for the week and I realized that it’s all quick trips to Safeway. I spent $63 at Safeway, spread out between an embarrassing number of trips. Sunday Leftover sandwiches; they’re great reheated in the toaster oven on the air-fryer setting.

I spent: $147 at Sam’s Club $15 at Safeway $31 on a Hungry Harvest box Sooo, $193 for me this week. Next week’s groceries will be cheaper. What We Ate Saturday I ate dinner with a friend, and Zoe had leftover pizza when she got back from work. Monday I picked up a rotisserie chicken from Safeway.

I spent: $15 at Target (for two bags of Starbucks coffee) $30 on a Hungry Harvest box $51 at Sam’s Club $17 at Safeway So, $113. I felt a little stumped about what to make for dinner, and I stopped at Safeway rather aimlessly, hoping for inspiration to strike. We’re 25% of the way through this 16-week semester already!

So typically, the only brick-and-mortar store I go to the day after Thanksgiving is a grocery store. Grocery stores are wonderfully empty right after Thanksgiving! What I Spent I spent: $30 on a Hungry Harvest box $34 at Safeway $15 on fried chicken So, $79 for me. If you are braving the retail crowds, godspeed to you. ?

I spent: $22 at Panera $27 at Safeway What We Ate Saturday I had all-day clinicals and a friend popped by with enchiladas, rice, and beans for Zoe and me. Monday We had burrito bowls with leftover meat from the one friend, and leftover beans and rice from the enchilada meal from another friend. ?

I spent $18 at Safeway, and that was it! Thursday An eat-up-leftovers night! Friday Hmmm… well, since I spent so little on groceries this week, I kinda think we will get some takeout tonight. ? What I Spent It was a cheap week at my house. That’s an awfully short spending report.

I spent: $32 at Aldi $8 at Safeway $17.50 Tuesday I sauteed some ham from the freezer, then sauteed some chopped kale, then added in leftover mac and cheese plus some milk and cream. Friday We have some leftover chicken, so maybe I’ll do something with that for dinner. Let’s see. at Lidl $12 at Dominos So, $69.50
