I spent: $48 at Aldi $17 at the Hispanic grocery store $26 at Noodles and Co. Thursday I had a free pizza in my Domino’s app so that’s what I picked up for dinner. ? Friday We have leftover pizza so that will be the easy button for tonight. But the next one I cut open? SO disappointing. So much pit.

What I Spent I spent: $30 at Lidl $16 at the Hispanic grocery store $30 on pizza So, $76 for me this week. Sunday Zoe had a night off of work, so the three of us went out for pizza and then went to Target, where we did some clothes shopping. But then when we got to the fitting room, it was closed! I would do that again!

So typically, the only brick-and-mortar store I go to the day after Thanksgiving is a grocery store. Grocery stores are wonderfully empty right after Thanksgiving! What We Ate Saturday I baked up the rest of the thin-crust pizza dough I’d made. And she got some Domino’s pizza on the way home. Sunday I made waffles topped with fruit and whipped cream, and we had some bacon on the side. Monday This was the day I passed my competency tests!

What I Spent So I went to pull together my grocery spending for the week and I realized that it’s all quick trips to Safeway. Monday I had a snacky dinner earlier, and then when Zoe came home from her evening shift at work, she had a frozen pizza. I spent $63 at Safeway, spread out between an embarrassing number of trips.

Sunday I remember that Zoe ate a frozen French bread pizza. To back up: Zoe wasn’t feeling well, so I offered to bake a frozen pizza for her. So that’s when I switched to the French bread pizza for Zoe. But I cannot for the life of me remember what I ate. But I burnt that thing so badly. It was decidedly inedible.

Thursday On Wednesday, I made this thin crust pizza dough and put it in the fridge. I had an open lab from 4:30-5:30, so I just had Zoe turn on the oven for the preheating while I was gone, and then when I came home I made the pizzas. I’d say something like, “I’ll fix that!”

Next week’s groceries will be cheaper. What We Ate Saturday I ate dinner with a friend, and Zoe had leftover pizza when she got back from work. I spent: $147 at Sam’s Club $15 at Safeway $31 on a Hungry Harvest box Sooo, $193 for me this week. But of course, it’s not like I need to go to Sam’s Club every week.

We got some frozen pizzas. Friday I don’t know what the plan is. I think the wrapper is sorta like a crepe, so that’s probably why it’s called a mango pancake. Tuesday So green! Tuesday I made a Dinnerly meal, which was Mediterranean beef pita pizzas: Zoe and I both liked these (sorta like an easy gyro), so I’ll probably put this meal idea into our rotation even if I don’t get it straight from Dinnerly. But I added some of the rotisserie chicken for some extra protein.

Tuesday Halloween night: Zoe was out with friends (I think they ate pizza?) Monday An oft-repeated meal of late: I grilled chipotle chicken kebabs and we ate them on a green salad, with the accompanying sauce as a dressing. Toasted croissants on the side. and I just made some cheese quesadillas for myself.

Tuesday I pulled out a frozen pizza and that was our dinner. Either that, or I need to keep a lint roller in my car! Zoe had a quesadilla when she got home from a shift that ended at 9:30 pm. Chiquita had kibble, and also some salmon pate. I did not even serve any produce with it (though obviously I ate produce at other times that day.
