While I was growing up, my family didn’t have much money. During the recession in the ’80s, he was unemployed for nearly 2.5 I’m not one of those parents who feels like I have to give my kids everything. My dad worked first as a meat cutter and then at a factory. My mom was an at home day care provider.

There are boat shows, boats at Cabella’s, boat manufacturers and lots of people whose main recreation is ‘going to the lake’ My growing up family were definitely land lubbers. My friend’s parents owned a house at the lake, complete with boat. No one was buying used boats during the recession.
