There was the gas, the hotel, and the restaurants to pay for. We thought eating in restaurants was a main attraction of travel because you get to try local foods. However, most of the time, we only had money for the low cost restaurants, so they were all one greasy spoon after another. Use discounts on rental cars.

They’re quality time spent together without the distractions of household responsibilities, work, school, and everything else life throws at us. When our kids were younger, we used to go camping at state parks, and they thought it was the best thing ever! Be loyal to your favorite hotel brand. Loyalty can pay off.

Save your receipts : If you read the fine print on your receipts while visiting Disney World, some receipts from park restaurants includes same-day discounts for Downtown Disney retailers. What is great is you can use these discounts to buy marked-down costumes, toys and more ! I was frugal for travel and saved up for a nice hotel.

For us, that means: Sheets, sleep sacks , pajamas, and pacifiers from home. We requested a crib from our Walt Disney World Resort hotel. Although you can always ask for a crib or pack ‘n-play when staying at a Disney hotel, they are not guaranteed. We use our Apple HomePod at home, which we plan to bring.
