As recently as my parents, folks used to have to haul and heat water for bathing and go outside to use the bathroom. Of course, Mom let us little kids use a chamber pot at night so we didn’t get lost in the dark. Our ancestors did a pretty good job of using it up in their day. Indoor plumbing.

It’s Time to Re-Stock for Emergencies. I will re-stock the pantry and re-fill the water jugs we keep. I may replenish our supply of fuel oil, matches, candles, lamp oil and wicks. Using the older generation’s (ye gods how did that get to be me!?) I will go to the bank and stockpile some cash.
